Hey there! I am/was at the Calvin Festival. I attended your session on “Small Wonders” and was stunned! I, as a rule, hate Christian fiction for being weak and watered-down and “sanitized” as you put it (perfect word!). It was very refreshing and actually relieving (no pun intended) to discover someone out there was connecting fiction that deals with REAL issues, with the God who does as well. You gave me hope that not all Christian literature is as bad as I thought! Your booth was so busy or else I would have told you in person. (If you randomly remember the short girl who came back with one of your bookmark/raffle ticket things because she thought she had stolen it…. that was me!) Anyway… Glad you attended the festival and glad I did too!
Jesse, thanks for your kind words! You cannot know exactly how much we appreciate hearing that from you. Thank you very much for stopping by our booth, and don’t worry about the ticket thing. (I didn’t bear witness to it, but I heard the story and you are very kind for being so conscientious.) Hopefully we get to see you soon at another conference.

Just noticed how TALL Brad and Chris look in that picture.
