Yep, on it's way right now as I type, Issue 2.3 will be arriving sometime tomorrow, and we'll be mailing them this week! So, we're, ummm, mostly on time. Kind of. Pretty close, anyway.
I'll be posting up the authors for the Second Edition of Coach's Midnight Diner pretty soon. I've gotta tell ya, I've been going over the edited works, and all I can say is wow. We really have some groundbreaking stuff in here. I know, like we didn't in the last one, but this one keeps the trendline moving forward on an upward vector! (Translation for Corporatese: The first Diner was great, the second Diner will be even more intense! )

New Relief Store Coming (Finally!)
I've finally finished up the new Relief Store, and I think it should be able to go live next week. Big fun! The new Relief Store will support instant downloads of eBooks and the Relief Writers Database as well as providing an easy experience for you to get some printed Relief and the upcoming second edition of the Diner! The store will be directly integrated into the site, and will also support a newsletter function as well, so you can easily keep track of all the goings-on around here. And...a big sale to celebrate! So not only will the process be easy and even more secure, you'll also be able to get some cheap Relief as well! I think many of our international friends will like the eBook option for Relief--no crazy-expensive shipping involved, plus instant gratification!

Issue 2.3, featuring Brian Spears, Melanie Haney, and Mike Duran, is headed to print this week. The Relief editors are busy with the final details, but we're looking forward to a long nap soon :)
Coach's Midnight Diner
Work has been selected and editing is being finalized for the second volume of Coach's Midnight Diner. We expect that the second volume will pack even more punch than the first, and are looking forward to filling you in on the details in the weeks to come!
Relief's editors are frantically working on the final touches of Relief Volume 2, Issue 3. We're planning to upload to the printer this weekend and have it out to you guys some time in August.
Issue 2.4 Decisions Coming
Over the next few weeks our genre editors and I will be discussing shortlisted work for November's issue. For those of you who submitted before July 1, you should be hearing back from us sometime this month.
